Week 2!

3/25/2012 - 5 hours of heavy weeding and garage cleaning - yes, I count this as exercise when my muscles are sore and my breathing is heavier
3/26/2012 - elliptical 30 min; walk 30 min; 3 sets of 3 different strength exercises - a heavy day
3/27/2012 - nada - recuperating
3/28/2012 - again nothing, but no excuse except I was tired from the day before
3/29/2012 - 30 min walk - almost 2 miles at work

Spring is here! The forsythia are popping yellow blooms, the dogwoods are budding, the birds are chirping, and what little winter we had seems to be on its way out.

So, now let's get down to business and get into shape for the coming summer season. I intend to be comfortable wearing shorts someday and I need to work hard to get there.

Our challenge is to get the body moving. So, the first week, let's start with 20 minutes of exercise a day. Get into the habit. Yoga, walking, running, swimming, whatever you want. Just get up and move!
