Small accomplishment - I lost 12 lbs in October which in my book is pretty fantastic. Most months it is hard to get 8, and while I know some of this represents water weight I am still pretty fantastically happy!

I had a huge accomplishment for me this week: I lost 5 lbs on a 7 day Caribbean cruise. During my last cruise in 2009 I gained 8lbs. This time I ate small portions of the healthiest things I could find, avoided alcohol and worked out in the cruise gym for at least an hour a day. My hubby also lost 5 lbs. Who would have thought it was possible to lost weight on a cruise.

LOL - I am sure someone has had success since October!
My accomplishment this week was being honest in my calorie logging. I often only log on "good days" and as soon as I go off-course stop logging. So it is a little accomplishment, but a good one!

I lost 1.8 pounds last week. And that was with doing very little in the way of diet and exercise. If I can keep that pace up I'll be at goal by April! I start my 100 day challenge today. Pray for me, this DVD scares me.

Sort of off topic but I am now on day 16 of NO SODA! I am thrilled! giving up Mt Dew was harder for me than starting to exercise daily! I feel so good and actually have MORE energy! I'm so excited!

I've come a long way! I can jump rope again...not very long (about 45 seconds)but I'm jumping!

I go to water aerobics 3 times a week (often times 4)
I can swim 5 laps in the pool (after 1 hour and 45 minutes of water aerobics)

I can complete the Billy Blanks Ultimate Tae Bo workout (an hour of high intensity Tae Bo).

...all my clothes are getting too big! WOOHOO.

I have developed a great habit of doing something every day, and now, it's as much a part of me as eating!

Hope everyone else is enjoying success as well!

I hit a milestone today!
My husband and I biked the entire Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) - a trail from Pittsburgh PA to Cumberland Maryland. 150 miles over 3 days. I am sore (every muscle fiber is screaming!) but I feel SO GOOD!

I can hold myself in a foreward plank for 35 seconds!!
I can do 15 modified pushups in 30 seconds.

I couldn't even hold my own weight for 3 seconds 6 months ago!

Today I joined th YWCA; also took a Zumba class-45 minutes! That was fun. She said it was the last class for a while; figures...but maybe she'll start another one when she gets back from vacation.
Anyway, I joined the Y so I can access the gym, pool, etc.

I did almost all of the New You Bootcamp Day 1 10 minute Cardio Kickboxing or whatever it is! I say almost all because that side low, med, high slow then fast is a challenge for me .. i can do it SLOW now .. and i had to march in place a couple of times ..

The reason this is a motivation is because the first time I "did" this video I made it about 2 minutes .. second time it took me all day to get through the moves I could do ..

anyway ..

Down 4 pounds this past week BUT it was 4 pounds I had gained back over Christmas! I'm just happy to see it gone again!

Ok, so I finished my 25th consecutive day of exercise this morning. It feels good. I would not say it is a habit yet, I still have those days where I'm just not in the mood. But it is getting easier to push past those feelings and just get the workout done! Below is what I have done in the last 25 days:

30 Day Shred - 55 min
Stationary Bike - 15 min
Walk Outside - 77 min
Lesli Sansone At Home Walking - 355 min
Biggest Loser Boot Camp - 20 min
Dancing - 20 min
Strength Training 15 min (just started this weekend)

So not bad, as you can see - most of my workout is with tapes at home. In the beginning my goal was 10-15 min per day, but for Dec I have increased that to 30 min per day minimum.

Thanks for this challenge, I just don't want to not make it and that is the motivation I need sometimes!

Just checking in here. Been a bit preocupied with the holidays and all. Great Accomplishments everyone! It's enough to motivate me and others I'm sure.

Just wanted to shout out that I'm ending the month down 1 lb from my monthly goal! I'm in the 70's now. And I can't belive this I just tried on a pair of pants and I'm now into the 12s! WHOOOO Chritmas goal is to be into 10s!!!! I can do it I know I can.

I have been cleaning out my closets of clothes that no longer fit. I had not bought any new clothes in SUCH a long time, since I was not happy with my weight, and finding clothes that fit was so difficult. (At 5 feet tall - it's pretty hard to find petite clothes in "women's" sizes :) Now, after 5 months on Sparkpeople, I am finding the need to buy some new clothes, and although I still have problems knowing what size to buy, I am finding shopping a little easier. Still, being this short is a challenge - but I scored two new pair of pants yesterday, 75% off - and I don't even have to hem them, since they are capri length for normal people - but long pants on me.

Can it be a weight loss goal/accomplishment? If so I hit a benchmark on the scale today. I like to benchmark in 5 lb increments. Today I hit 180! That's 20 lbs lost for me. emoticon
