'Gentle' would be taking it easy - perhaps as a warm up for 'moderate' which is like jogging on the spot and twists, starjumps etc. 'Vigorous' would be like jogging on the spot but raising your knees right up toward your chest or using resistance - either your own body or weights to add intensity to what would otherwise be a moderate workout.

I'm back! After a long, long separation during which I struggled a lot with my health and gained back all the weight I had lost, I am back on the wagon.

I'm clearing off my rebounder tonight (it's been used for storage for a while now) and going to start with a 1-minute bounce. Tomorrow I'll do two or three 1-minute bounces.

Is anyone still here?

It ain't over till I say so!

Hello, I know this team has not been doing anything, and I am not sure if anyone is even here with me. But I am going to start jumping tomorrow, 30 sec. twice a day, then the next day 1 min. twice a day, then 2 min twice a day!! and so on!! Whose with me!!

Hello DC and Singin, I am in CT. my Mom had by-pass surgery Mon, she's doing amazing and is out of ICU!! She'll becoming home or going to rehab this weekend, and I will be home Sun. so I can start jumping then YEAH!! Glad to see some posts!!

I did it again last night, and managed almost 10 minutes at a time.

It feels great, actually, and although I had a really long day at work today, I don't feel as tired as I usually do.

Tonight I'm going to try to rebound through all the commercials during my favorite show. Anyone care to join me? :)

Hi girls... sorry for my delay in response. just got the notice there was a post here :o)
I love rebounding also! I normally spend 20-25 minutes on it, but have not done any exercises (wt training or rebounding) since last tues. (5 days now, yikes!) Couldn't figure out why I've been so tired the last few days... then this afternoon, I figured out that there is a "bug" trying to get me... Well, I grabbed the zicam and hopefully I will be on the mend soon. Got myself around way too many sick people lately, and pushed my luck a little too far I guess. Keep up the good work and if you think of it, get on your rebounders while you watch your favorite show, or do a health bounce during a commercial or 2... the more you practice, the better you'll get and you'll love how you feel afterward.
Keep me posted, I love seeing the activity here on this team!

Rebounding is one of the best exercises for the entire body that there is. It also gets the lymphatic fluid flowing through our bodies, which helps to release toxins.

I know I have a hard time getting started, so I thought I'd recruit some moral support.

Let's all get up, right now, and go jump on our rebounders for 5 minutes. Even the beginners can go 5 minutes with a "health bounce," and maybe we'll end up liking it so much we bounce longer.

'K. Going to go bounce now. Back in five.

Whew! Made it for eight instead. I feel great now, though! Come on, you guys -- make a post saying you'll do it, then go DO it, then come back and finish your post telling us how you did and how you feel.
