If you really want to you can turn it around. Bring healthy snacks you can nibble on. Maybe some vegetables instead of a snack machine item. If your really serious then you have to plan and takes your snacks from home. Give it a try. I'll be asking you about it. We can't have you sliding up. Are you recording all your snacking in your nutrition?

Good luck and I will keep hounding you until you are turned around and back on track.

Oh, I am nibbling on nothing good for me.. And I know it. Scale is up another pound today. And the scary thing is I am not even surprised a little... Well, a little.. Only a pound? Lol :(

Nibbling can be a good thing if your careful what you are nibbling on. Analyze what your nibbling on and substitute it for more healthy, low cal. choices.

Pam, I have been off track with my food since I started working full time in January. It's going to be work getting back. I haven't caved to fast food, I have a bad snack monster... Officially has a new name - "nibbler". One of the ladies I work with made a comment that she was going to start calling me nibbler because I am always nibbling on something. :( didn't realize I was that bad.

I'm back on track emoticon

Today I did my morning burst 09 min.
Walked. 10 min.
Wii. 26 min.
Dumb bells. 30 min.

So excited, my nutrition is back also. I need to do at least 45 minutes for the next two days in order to meet my challenge. That way I'll have two days to get every little thing done for my trip. 4 days and counting then off on a plane I go.

OK today was my husbands birthday! Yep our birthdays are only 1 day apart. It's amazing we get along so well. Well needless to say today wasn't my best day either. Tomorrow our daughter and her family are taking us out to dinner.

Regardless I will stay on track tomorrow. The longer I'm off track the harder it will be to get back on track.

Keep me honest and ask me how I did!

Thanks for the encouragement.

So far I have done my morning burst and a twenty minute walk. I did 15 minutes of dumb bells and 29 minutes on the Wii. Did really well today. It was fun. I'm finally get the hang of this exercise stuff. emoticon

I did my morning burst, I walked for 1/2 hour and 20 minutes with the dub bells. I'm getting pretty consistent. 14 days on track, hopefully this will turn into a new habit emoticon

I have done the I minute challenge so far. I have changed it slightly. I do a low impact jumping jack and I can't do for only 1 minute. Once I get started I do more so I'm counting the number until I get tired and I try to push I more rep. Right now I can do 60 jumping jacks. My goal is to work my way up to 100. Well see.

Afteri eat breakfast I have started work my arms with 2 lb weights. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing to work my arm so I need to talk to the coach.

I think this simple one challenge was just I needed to get my exercise started emoticon

I did my half jumping jacks. My doctor told me I shouldn't do them standing up so I guess I'm going to switch to something else. I will think something that can be vigorous.

Yesterday was the first day I tried yoga since last week's surgery. I did the shorter one and did fine. Today I tried the longer one, and only had a little discomfort. I will be doing mini-golf tomorrow for my birthday!

Well I tried to do my jumping jacks but found that with my disability I can't do a full one. I choose to do half jumping jacks. I found it very difficult even for only 1 minute. I know it worked because I could feel my heart pumping and my arms were sore. I guess I'm more out of fit than I thought I was.

All the difficulty makes me more determined to do it until I can do them without any trouble. Thanks for this wonderful challenge.

This is a good challenge for me this week, as I'm recovering from minor surgery. Today will be my first hike since the surgery. It's an easier hike, so I don't overdo it. I'm hoping to try yoga tomorrow, but we'll see.

Good challenge, I can use this one !

I haven't been exercising regularly for a couple of weeks since I hadn't been feeling well. I'm getting back to it slowly now so I'll use this challenge to get me going.

Pam - coming up with new and exciting things to help keep all of us motivated can be a challenge .. Often. ;) thank you for talking to let us know what you are going through. It makes our task more fun and easier. Little secret with this challenge - its one we bring around from time to time... Lots of people have enjoyed this one.

I am choosing to do simple leg stretches for my 60 seconds. Although I do exercise everyday, I almost never take time to stretch. Lately I have been having some leg cramps while I sleep. I will also do them first thing in the morning.

This challenge will be quick... and may be helpful in getting those of us in a habit of doing some sort of exercise everyday... and...it only takes 60 SECONDS!!

All you need to do is choose an exercise that you will commit to doing everyday this week – it may be cardio eg jumping jacks, jump rope or jogging in place or maybe a strength training exercise eg lunges, crunches, push ups - and simply do that exercise for just 60 seconds.

It may be an idea to plan which exercise you’ll do beforehand! If you’re planning to do strength training then remember to rotate through upper, lower & core body exercises to ensure you’re resting your muscles. If you need ideas these exercise demos are great:

Maybe give this challenge a try as a "get you going" and do them first thing in the morning – you may be surprised at the difference it can make to your day!
