My goal was 1000 minutes, plus "do something.. Everyday" for strength training.

I reached my minutes total at: 1032 minutes, and did my strength training everyday. :)

Thanks for the encouragement. I looked over things more closely and 1500 is setting myself up for failure. I'm going to Change it again to 1,000. I can reach over 500 by the week end. That gives me 1 1/2 weeks to get another 500. If I don't skip any days and do as much as I can then I should make it by the skin of my teeth. Missed to many days to reach 1500. I'll take it up next month.

Pam - you are amazing! :) way to go to re-evaluate your goal.

Sometimes we don't push ourselves hard enough. Other times we put unrealistic expectations that set ourselves up for failure.

Midway through the month is a great time to look at your goals. If you set a goal to high.. Readjust it. To low, bump it up. We are looking for successes.. Not hurdles to high to jump.

My original challenge was 500 min. This'll month was sporadic at best. I'm getting more consistent and have completed 435.

I think I need to bump up the challenge just to make it a challenge.

I am raising my challenge to 1500. That means I have two weeks to do another 1000. I think I need to challenge myself in order for it to be a challenge. Before I was just doing what I knew I could do and that is not a challenge.

My disability won't let me do full jumping jacks. I can do 1 leg jumping jacks. I guess I'm doing half jumping jacks. It's very hard for me and I can feel my heart racing so I guess it's working emoticon

Goal 1 is to exercise 10 minutes 4 times a week.

I think I'm defeating myself by trying to go from 0 - 60 right away. I think doing 4 times a week is more doable for me.

Goal 2 is to do jumping jacks for 1minute every day.

I am at 372 minutes this month... I am going to have to step up my game to reach my goal of 1000 minutes this month. In order for me to be on track to reach minutes I have to have 500 by the 15th of the month. Falling a bit short right now... I will make it! :D

Those new to our team, jump in anytime. What this challenge does: each of us set our own goal to the number of minutes we will reach for to exercise. Post your starting goal. Then come back regularly (daily, weekly, whatever fits your style) and keep us updated on your progress.

Remember to adjust your goals to make sure they are realistic.
