Overcoming my sweet tooth, finding the joy in exercise.

A-Accomplish: Which accomplishments do you love the most?
Accomplishing the small goals that I set myself the one I love the most is Exercising daily for at least 10 minutes.

L-Love: How do you show yourself love?
Being patient with myself, planning meals that are healthy, doing something for myself.

Walking and Chair exercise and Dancing

My energy levels have increased

New: Today I tried the Dr. Lisa Yoga Fusion, Strength portion. I really liked it as it was very different, with a lot of stretching, but with some different moves.

And a new fav kitchen gadget, the Ninja 3 in 1 cooking system. I love this thing, and steam baked a pork tenderloin last night. Perfect! It serves as a stovetop, oven, and slow cooker. Soooo many possibilities. Great outcome so far. I look forward to many experiments!

V-Victories: my new size L t-shirt that fits!

A-Accomplishment: how much smaller I am than I was on my last birthday.

L-Love: Exercising today instead of taking the day off because it's my birthday.

E-Exercise: going for a walk on a beautiful day like today!

T-Treat: I'm planning on making individual chocolate cakes for myself and family to celebrate while controlling portions.

N-New: Starbucks Pumpkin Spice mix. It's only 70 calories before adding skim milk!

Since this is a month filled with love, love, love, let's focus on what we love about ourselves, and our journey so far.

V-Victories: What do you love about your journey and victories so far? My restored health, learning to care for the body God has given me.

A-Accomplish: Which accomplishments do you love the most? finishing a 5k

L-Love: How do you show yourself love? preety colored sweat towels just seem to make me happy at the gym. Weird but I like it.

E- Exercise: Which exercise/s do you love? treadmill, lunges, dancing (strength training)

N-Notice: Have you noticed any changes you particularly love? inches lost

T-Treat: What special treat do you love? frappacino

I-Improve: What would you love to improve? sagging stomach skin

N- New: Have you tried anything new lately that you love? punching bag

E-Eat: Which healthy foods or meals do you particularly love? banana with peanut butter and a drizzle of honey

V- victories: I love that my journey has brought me to Spark People where there is incredible support and care and a wealth of knowledge at your fingertips.
A- accomplish: getting my house organized, doing the mental work of losing weight, and that I am now wearing a size smaller in clothing.
L: Love- loving myself has become a priority in my life and by eating right and exercising every day I know I am giving myself the life I have always wanted.
E: Exercise: Swimming! and stretches.
N: Notice- I notice my body taking on a more fit form and the muscles are replacing the areas where fat was so prominent.
T: Treat- a dinner out once a month
I: Improve- continue to improve my strength in my lean muscle mass.
N: New- in December I tried on some different style clothes and they looked great.
E: Eat- salads, I used to not like them so much, and still not a fan of rest. salads, but make great salads at home.

this is a great thought provoking challenge, thank you!

Each time I do a Spark video that I've done before, I find that it's easier, my balance and coordination are better, and I recover faster.

A-Accomplish: What accomplishments do you love the most?

The badges that I've earned from completing challenges prove to me that I can stick with something until I complete it.

L-Love: How do you show yourself love?

By resting when I truly need to. I'm far too driven most of the time.

E-Exercise: Which exercise do you love?

Anything that involves using my dumbbells.

N-Notice: Have you noticed any changes that you particularly love?

I'm consistently loosing inches even when I don't see a change on the scale. I love biking able to wear smaller sizes of clothes. I love clothes and had given up hope that I could wear pretty, flattering things.

T-Treat: What special treat do you love?

Caramel almond butter!

I-Improve: What would you love to improve?

My lower stomach. It is getting better and I can't wait till it's all gone.

N-New: Have you tried anything new lately that you love?

One Minute Egg McMuffins. I get to feel like I'm indulging in something I love and it's less greasy and lighter than the original. I do better throughout the day, if I start with proteins.

V-Victories: What do you love about your journey and victories so far?

I love that this time around I didn't give up. I persevered, and learned what living a healthy lifestyle truly is, along with the many aspects of it. It's not just about food and exercise, there is so much more, and I'm continually learning, growing, challenging myself, and fulfilling dreams I never thought possible. The victories are many, big and small, each a stepping stone toward the next. Each one as important as the others. The biggest, is that I live a simple, de-cluttered, grateful and joyful life, balanced spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. A peaceful life!

A-Accomplish: Which accomplishments do you love the most?

My weight does not define me, and I'm living my dreams.

L-Love: How do you show yourself love?

By taking care of me physically and nutritionally. Maintaining balance, resting, rewards, me time, and stepping back when needed, stress reducers.

E- Exercise: Which exercise/s do you love?

Walking outdoors in nature, capturing God's amazing creation, and enjoying the peace and tranquility.

N-Notice: Have you noticed any changes you particularly love?

Some of my tops are looser, and I've bought a few in the next size down.

T-Treat: What special treat do you love?

Ice cream

I-Improve: What would you love to improve?

I would love to tone my belly area.

N- New: Have you tried anything new lately that you love?

Tahini. I made my own clean hummus, which required tahini. I love it, by itself. Tahini sauce is next, but fine just by itself.

And a couple new exercise dvd's, different types of movement with a yoga touch, and a dancing touch. I love them too.

E-Eat: Which healthy foods or meals do you particularly love?

Seafood, cedar planked. Particularly Shrimp, scallops, and salmon., our way at home.
