Made it within calorie range for yesterday and today as well. I am doing much better getting within range. I am trying hard to incude my two snacks. sometimes only one but at least I get them in. Thansk for the challenge. It is really making me try harder. I don't get the snack attacks if I eat enough.

I OOPSed yesterday. Was unexpected asked to go back to the other office. Couldn't wait to get there to eat the lunch I had packed. Forgot it in the fridge of the other office! They weren't making me clock out to go find something, so I hurried. Closest place was Taco Bell.

Slipped a bit yesterday - was called to babysit my niece while my brother and his fiance were in the hospital having another little girl emoticon . The planned meals for Thursday went out the window, so to speak, and we ate on the run when we did stop to eat.

The rest of the week has been great though, and today/Saturday/Sunday shall follow suit. ;)

Working on staying within calorie range. I made it yesterday and so far today. I am a little under but am ready to have a 100 calorie snack pack of Almonds and that will boost my calorie intake to the lower end of my range!!

I haven't been feeling well. So, I didn't make it to the store and couldn't make the healthy dinner I'd planned. Thankfully, my sweet hubby went to the store after the kids were in bedside I can get back on track.

I had a banana with breakfast, apple with lunch. Hubby didn't make veggies last night, so I had raisins to make up for it. The Sunmaid container says that it's 100% fruit, so I'm counting it as a fruit.

I need to work on all of these. I tracked all my food Monday but not yesterday. I do pretty good about planning ahead most days because I pack breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks each day for work.

My challenges will be:

1. Eat more freggies. I struggle with this more in the winter, so I'm going to look up some healthy recipes that I can make and portion out through the week along with healthy dips for raw freggies.

2. To stay at the lower end of my calorie range, so that I can prepare to reduce my calories.

I'm going to work on planning my meals and snacks. I'm already pretty good with freggies, so it wouldn't be much of a challenge. I really don't have time to track all of my food this week; and without tracking, it would be hard to know if I'm in calorie range. So, I'm going to plan my meals, as that will both save time and ensure that I make good choices which should keep me approximately in calorie range.

Hello all, This is wha i usually do:
Sunday I buy fruit and cut it up ad put into containers for my snacks at work. I also pre-pack my lunches ahead if possible -sandwhiches. This way I am prepared and controlling my portions and I get most of the work done in one day.

I have never planned meals ahead but think that would be a hugh help. Portion management and staying within calorie range are 2 of my goals for the year so I am adding them here. If I manage the portions I think that will help me stay within range.

I am doing a 5 day juicing fast..all fresh and raw...so that will be a lot of fruits and veggies. I was inspired by Seesko's 30 juicing fast, but I'm not committing to anything that long without seeing how my body reacts first. I have already purchased, washed and prepped my fruits and veggies, so I am ready to go.

This week we will focus on the basics for food that we eat. Select your challenge from the suggested options below. Remember this is a challenge so choose something that you don't already do - feel free to add your own (it needs to be food related) if you already do all of these.

* Plan your meals/ snacks ahead
* Manage your portions
* Stay within your calorie range
* Track your food
* Eat AT LEAST 3 freggies daily

Share here which option you will be focusing on (you don't need to do all of them!) and come back daily to report how well you did, and what, if anything, you need to change to stay on track with this challenge.
