2964 fitness minutes ... a lot better than I expected ... with chemo and radiation but I kept moving and making it count as much as possible.
Now I am on the recovery end of the last month and will have to see how much I can actually move and get going again. I would like to get back to the gym, but that won't happen until my blood counts improve, so it's home "schoolin'" that will be working for me again this month.

be authentically you...

I reached goal. :) my goal was 1000 minutes + strength training.

Total was 1096 minutes + strength training everyday. I did blow my streak early in the month (wad on day 128) but got right back on track and am going strong.

I am very happy with my totals this month. I managed to get my minutes in even with starting a new full time job.

I haven't looked at my actual minutes in a bit, but know I am on track. My feed shows 500 minutes this month. Halfway to goal..halfway in minutes. :)

I'm aiming to get in shape enough to be able to hike to Havasu Falls, AZ by the summer of 2015! I hope to become a certified personal trainer and/or a nutrition coach someday!

Have been doing an average of 2100 minutes a month, which pretty much accounts for my 45 minute walk to and from work. Since my body has adjusted to that and it is not contributing to my weight loss anymore (or lack there of), I am going to try to do an extra 30 minutes most days and try to stop gaining weight! Going to attempt to do a lot more strength training too. With that in mind, I'm going for 2500 this month.

I am sticking to my 1000 minutes a month + do something everyday for strength training.

I am going to pledge 1000 minutes this month. I have fallen off the exercise wagon, but I am going to bite the bullet and do it.

I'll go for 1500 minutes again. My fitbit is telling me that my exercise isn't as intense as I thought. So I'm going to see if I can reach 1500 based on 10-20 minutes of strength training and what my fitbit records on top of that.

How many fitness minutes will you pledge for January?

If you're new to this challenge then decide how many minutes you will do each day/ week and multiply by 31/ 4 to get your goal. Post your goal and return to this thread daily / weekly to record your minutes and update your progress towards goal/ minutes left. Don't worry about how many minutes other people are posting - focus on what is realistic for you at this time!

If you've joined this challenge in previous months then how about increasing the number of minutes you commit to?

You can post just the number of minutes, or the exercise you did along with the number of minutes

Example:
Goal set: 1000 minutes
1/1: 30 minutes strength training
1/2: 60 minutes zumba
1/3: 20 minutes heavy cleaning

minutes left: 890

Goodies for everyone who achieves their goal so make sure you post your final minutes.
Let's get this year off to a great start!
