JOETTE By watching the charts I found I am eatting to many carbs, proiein is low and fat is near where it should be. I need to look out side of the box once in a while if what I am doing isnt working. This week I will find foods low in carbs and high in proteins. emoticon

I did horribly with this week's challenge. I had enough trouble getting three freggies in/day, let alone five. Then yesterday, I ate this big, gooey chocolatey butterscotchy thing that tasted heavenly. Hopefully I do better with the upcoming challenge.

I ate the entire piece of fudge cake that was served to me at the Sunday School Christmas party, and should have left some on my plate since I was so full... but I have to go back and track my calories for a weekend challenge on another team and see if I stayed in range.

Pam - usually our challenges are so that we are all working on very similar things. This challenge however is self defined. Looks like we have several working on snacking, portions or getting more or less carbs and freggies.

Everyone is doing pretty good with this challenge. What a great challenge. I have met my nutrition ranges again today. I have my tracker planned out until Tuesday. As long as I eat according to plan I will be fine. Now I have to work on the exercise. Who wants to come to my house and drag me to the pool 3x a week. That looks like what it will take.

I recommend you eat the calories that work for you.

In my instance, if I eat in the calorie range set here, I will gain. I have to consistently stay below even the low range in order for me to see success. I try to make sure my pie chart report section is balanced. Regardless of how many calories I am eating. I try to find the balance.

I know this wont work for everyone, but then again.. If everyone of us could use the same formula, it would be easy. Lol

I'm doing okay. I dirtied a lot of dishes Monday and only washed about half of them, but wasn't home much Tuesday, so I got everything clean as of Tuesday night. We'll see how it goes the rest of the week. But at least I can eat some oatmeal for breakfast without having to wash a bowl to eat it from :)

Didn't meet my goal today of no sweets. One of my students came in with a home made rice crispy square and I ate it! Truth be told, it wasn't all that good and definitely not worth ruining my goal for! Oh well, tomorrow is another day! Hopefully it will be better!

COLEYBANANA---Ah Mt. Dew my old nemesis. That use to be the only soda I would drink, now I don't drink any, and if I do have one once in awhile, it is a root beer. I walked into my Dr. office one hot summer day with a Mt. Dew and if looks could kill I would be dead. They say that is the worst soda you can drink, high in caffeine. I use to drink 3 sometimes 4 a day. I weaned myself off it. I haven't had one since October 30, 2011 I don't miss it either, I did at first. The withdrawal was awful. I lost 22 pounds that month alone.

I am munching on almonds. I will again meet my SP ranges. I think I had no appetite because I was recovering from being sick. I am getting 1360 calories today. That is up from 1225 from yesterday. Three days in a row. emoticon

Not meeting my challenges so far. I just cant seem to stop myself sometimes. Today is a new day so far so good. I just wish I could get everyone else in my house on board so I didn't have the temptation staring me in the face all the time!!! I did so good for months and went on 2 vacations and cold weather has made me fall and cant seem to get back up all the way. emoticon

I've been struggling with staying in my calorie range. I will work on no late night snacking, and eating five servings of Freggies. That should help keep me in range. Eating fresh fruits and veggies should also help with the sodium.

This week, my challenge will be to cut out the sweet treats.. I have been bad lately having one cookie here, one chocolate there and I tell myself it's ok cause it's only one. But at the end of the day, one adds up to a lot! So, that is my goal, cut out the sweet treats!

December 1st: goal met!!!
December 2nd: I missed my goal by 1 cookie (how can you resist one cookie when you are baking 25 dozen??? 1 is better than my usual 15-20.. however I am sad that I missed my goal today) :(
December 3rd: goal met!!! It was a tough day today but I made it through with flying colors!!!

Ok...I'm going to cut down on my snacks. I bring snacks to work, but I bring so many, you'd think I'm going to be standed here and starve. Less snacks at work, means less eating. Thanks for the motivation.

I've been slacking the last few weeks. I haven't gained or lost anything, so I didn't do much damage, but I didn't make any progress, either. My goal this week will be to stay within my calorie range, and stick to my exercise plan.

My goal will be the same as last week LOL I'm going to wash dishes every day so that I can prepare healthy foods to eat every day. It's hard to eat a bowl of oatmeal when all of the bowls are dirty and the pop-tarts don't require a dish.

This week, my challenge will be to cut out the sweet treats.. I have been bad lately having one cookie here, one chocolate there and I tell myself it's ok cause it's only one. But at the end of the day, one adds up to a lot! So, that is my goal, cut out the sweet treats!

December 1st: goal met!!!
December 2nd: I missed my goal by 1 cookie (how can you resist one cookie when you are baking 25 dozen??? 1 is better than my usual 15-20.. however I am sad that I missed my goal today) :(

Since before Thanksgiving I have not been eating enough on a good many days. I was sick the week of Thanksgiving and I still have no appetite. I fill in my tracker 1 week ahead of time and I just don't feel like eating some days so end up drinking instant breakfasts and Slimfast. This week I will eat what is in my tracker and reach my nutritional goals. The sad part is I am not losing weight.

I've been struggling with staying in my calorie range. I will work on no late night snacking, and eating five servings of Freggies. That should help keep me in range. Eating fresh fruits and veggies should also help with the sodium.
