My goal was 1800 and I'm just squeaking in with 1804. I was going to post this a little bit ago, and I realized I was going to be about 20 minutes short, so I went for a walk to make it to the goal.

Wow.. I learned something about ME... and my motivation.

These minutes I post here matter! I had not paid attention to my minutes this month. I have been sticking to my rules that work for me, have had a few really long walks, etc.. When I went to my SparkAmerica (that's the number I use for the minutes I post here).. I was short minutes! I had 67 minutes to go to make my 1000. Soooo.. I did it! I really was surprised I was short. Normally those minutes are much higher.

Time for me to pay more attention.. Don't want to start slipping. :)

My October minutes: (goal - 1000 minutes + "something everyday" strength training) ST minutes don't count toward my fitness minutes.

I did:

1003 minutes + succeeded with ST everyday. Those minutes totaled 132. 57 days streak on strength training.

Hey Joette!

I think you may be right on that one! It was kinda slow at the beginning. I was having some back issues that slowed me down but I'm back, baby! No, my doc refilled my pain med which REALLY helps so I can walk faster and further. I also did some calisthenics and crunches too which are WAY too uncomfortable for me when I'm having my back probs. So, yeah, that med is what I need to get a good workout in everyday! I'm gonna try to hit that 1100 mark. I've got 8 days to do it..we'll see. I'm outta commission on 10/31 that's the day of my surgery and my Nov. min. may be null and void depending on how the surgery goes. If all goes well and the pain is held at bay with the meds, then there's no reason why I can't atleast do some walking. We'll see how that plays out too...I'm hoping I can get my exercise in. I obviously won't be running any marathons while on Percocet, but a nice 2-4 mile walk will be ok. emoticon
