I find a training plans that work for me online. I started slow, did 5ks for about two years, then made a big jump to a 10 mile. Start slow is my biggest advice.

I've done the Borgess 5k run twice, the color run, had to cancel on the warrior dash (was very ill), and a Chicago 10 mile.

This year I'm doing the Borgess half, the Chicago 10 mile and the warrior dash... So far.

have you ever did any of them ? the mud run looks fun lol

I have trouble walking 2 miles after two miles I need to take a break. I'm not sure how on earth people run the full 5k with out stopping.
