I live in the Richland area and love to walk at the Richland Park.... if you walk the entire distance (around the park and the field), you will have walked 1.5 mile, on different terrain, and get in a few hills. It feels great and there are such nice folks along the way. I also love to walk at the Celery Flats in Portage whenever I visit the mall.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE GREAT TO START, BUT YOU HAVE TO START TO BE GREAT!!!

I just got an email the other day regarding a

Hot Chocolate 5k for December 3rd at Linden Grove Middle School!

It was sent through Girls on the Run of Greater Kalamazoo...I'm debating if I'm going to adventure to run in snow.

We do a lot of walking at Celery Flats and El Sabo. The kids love to walk in the woods and see all the nifty creatures we can find.

I walk on the treadmill religiously each morning before work. I try to walk at least 10 minutes during my lunch around the middle school I work in. I've bundled up and walk outside as well.

I just keep challenging myself to get more steps in.

I walk on my treadmill while watching dvds when it is cold. When it gets warmer I like the flats, and I love to go to beach and walk.

Where do you like to walk? How do you incorporate exercise in your daily and sometimes hectic life?

I take 10 mins and do on-demand work outs. I do the videos that are quick for burning cals and toning muscle AND they work!
