working on building on doing more exercises. Finding some different recipe in the Spark People Cookbook to break up the boredom of what we have been eating. Prefer the frozen veggies to add to the meals. emoticon

Day 8 feeling awesome...I had a milestone yesterday usually I get the serving of nacho and French fries but I ask for 6 chips and 3 French fries and a little cheese so I wouldn't feel deprived and I was satisfied I savored every bit....and when tempted to go get the full serving I didn't I was so happy then this morning my hard work and dedication paid off 4 pounds gone....I had to learn what works for me....I am eating low carbs, NO SWEETS lots of veggies and protein

Here's to making it happen!!! Don't stop and don't give up...Make it happen one day at a time...

It is so great when you start seeing results. in the past it was a great motivator for me when i saw the lbs come off. it makes you work harder.

keep up the good work! i bought my first pair of new jeans at 18lbs lost--for me that was three pants sizes!

What do you think VIMEZA - 30 min. walk every day? That would be over and above the 15-20 min. of walking I manage at work. I'm game if you are!

I know how u feel i have been there.. but there comes a time you need to make that "you" come first.. once you start to exercise you will feel some much better and want to exercise more often!!! If you need any help we can challenge each other!!! emoticon

I hope to feel that way some day as well. I just have not been able to get myself motivated to start. I do some walking with my job, and bowl one night a week in addition to the usual house and yard chores, which I count as exercise. But when I get home at night I just cannot get myself to do any kind of exercise program.

You got it and if your body responds to threats of a doctors intervension the way mine did, you will drop weight the day you go to see the doctor.... but fingers crossed for you and prayers for your continued "stick to itiveness" .... it does work sometimes it just takes a while to actually start loosing the pounds.

I am experiencing the same thing, I have been working hard all summer with no weight loss BUT my body reflected the inches that are coming off, then finally a 5.6 pound loss- I had made an appointment with my doctor to find out why my scales just wouldn't move, and it was that day that the scales finally moved.
Keep up the good work... your story keeps folks like me going and inspired. Thank you
