Welcome. Sometimes we set goals for ourselves that are too ambitious. Then, when we miss a step, we give up and feel like failures.
So, set some long term goals (reach your goal weight by a certain date ), some medium term goals (lose 10 pounds in 2 months), and some short term goals, like drink 8 glasses of water a day, weigh & measure your food for a week, cut back on soda, exercise for 15 minutes 5 times this week, etc. These are doable, and aren't so overwhelming.
Some people who have a lot of weight to lose set their weight tracker for a portion of the weight they want to lose, instead of their goal weight. Then, when they reach that first goal, set it again for the next portion. That doesn't seem so overwhelming.

Hi every one!! I'm 23 years old new mother, wife and student. I'm new to this site and I just want to get healthier. I absolutely have no motivation I will work out for like 2 weeks and start seeing results and then make up an excuse to stop. Idk i guess I'm afraid of progress.... But I'm hoping with motivation and encouragement from others I just might be able to pull this off!!!!
