i love this... i do a minum of 20 minutes on the treadmill each day... if not i go walk the store while shopping.. i make sure my list at the store is messed up and i only get whats next.. i run all over the place.. but i makes me move and i make sure i get the heavy things first and load them into the cart... i love going while everyone is at school or work so i can do it myself.. makes me feel better then taken a kid and maken them load everything... thats me being lazy and yes at times i still have my days...like on the second trip to the store after the kid or hubby besides to NEED something they didnt put on the list... lol

This is my first day and my first post which I am very excited about as one of my mini-goals is to walk/run a mile every day which should take about 15-20 minutes (I think). So here I go!

Taking 15 minutes out to plan my meals better, this way I can have a all around healthy meal.
also 15 minutes daily to myself...I tend to take care of everyone else but myself.

this actually fits in with my goal for the week I cant seem to get myself to exercise so I was going to walk every day around a park now I will just make it 15 min of walking I sure do hope I can do this. Good luck everyone.

My challenge for today is cleaning. This doesn't sound like a lot, but I live on the 4th floor of a walk-up building. I have to lug my garbage down the stairs and then climb back up them. I have been cleaning a lot today (have lots of garbage) and instead of taking all the bags at once, I am taking them one at a time. It's my easy way of getting more exercise into the day :)

I have always walked pretty much every where (no car) emoticon Joined sparkpeople on Sunday. Today was my first attempt at doing exercise since high school. Flipped to netflix and put on crunch: cardio. Did 15 mins of that and had to stop. Rested for a few mins then tried pilates for 7 mins. Then did some stretching out. I did not crawl back into bed this morning after sending my kid off to school. I ate a healthy breakfast and lunch and did some exercise. Yeah me!

I do low impact exercise everyday. i have been trying to add 15-20 minutes of focused yoga, strength training or higher intensity cardio.

I actually already set this gol for myself 8 months ago only mine wasnt 15 minutes but 30 and iv stuck to it since i set this goal :) I think it is the only goal iv stuck to 100 percent without fail! This i am very proud of though i would love to be able to say i stick to al my goals x

I don't have trouble with doing low/medium intensity exersises. however i thing challanging myself to make sure i either do 15 minutes of strenght training, intense cardio/circuits, or silent yoga may help me regain some of my focus and energy.

Loving - this is a great idea! Consistency is definitely what it takes - little steps always rather than trying to do it all on one day, and forgetting the other 6 days of the week.

And commitment is another issue I've been working on. As much as I say I want something, I have trouble committing, and keeping that commitment!

Just an idea for the team leaders. What about a challenge of just commiting to 15 minutes a day MINIMUM of any exercise. Must be done daily, no excuses, challenge to see who can stick to it for most days in a row.

I am learning that I can get so much accomplished in just 15 minutes, but I need the consistency if knowing that I am going to do this, NO MATTER WHAT.

Just an idea, what do you think??
