Although I tend to stick with the National Kidney Foundation website - I wanted to do a quick search on what I know - to lower your creatinine levels - limit your protein, potatssium, phosphorus and sodium. The only thing that I do different than what this site says - I have increased my water intake. They say to limit liquids - I believe this is related to edema. Some of us with kidney disease also have high blood pressure and other issues that cause edema. If you do not have high blood pressure or another illness that can cause edema - check with your doctor - about increasing your water intake to 8 a day.
AS for the rest - I limit protein and phosphorus, potassium and sodium with the dialysis diet.

But even the best of these years are filled with pain and trouble;soon they disappear, and we are gone."(Psalms 90:10)
