Here are the final results for the Oct-Dec Weight loss challenge, as well as the results of the December Snowman Challenge.
Congratulations to all of you for keeping this going for three long months. I hope the January challenge will keep our momentum up since it is only one month long -- we can DO it for one month, right??

Okay, I am back on my regular weight in day. I am starting January at 174 lbs. That is a total loss of 6 lbs for the last 3 months (did not meet my 15 lb. goal) lost 4 lbs in Dec. for the snowman challenge. I am aiming for a 10 lb loss in the next three months. Janet

I didn't do so well...I have so much swelling in my legs and feet that I know it is reflected in my weight...Have to figure out how to stop that from happening...I will weigh on Friday and start from there.

Great. Thanks for the responses. I think we'll give ourselves Jan 1 as a "free" day and weigh in on Friday or Saturday for our start weight. What do you think? Anyone have an idea of a theme you might like? If I can fit a crocheted critter to the theme, we'll have another trophy, too. Looks like Trish is in the running for the snowman, but we have a couple of days left.

I would like a challenge for January. Maybe we can start on the 1st and end on the 29th (four weeks) Since many of us are reporting on Thursday or Friday,that would make it an easier challenge to keep track of.

My weight has stayed the same this week. I'm only 2 pounds short of where I wanted to be on December 31. I have a feeling those two pounds will have to wait until January to come off. I'm enjoying Christmas but maintaining rather than losing. Hope everyone has a good last week before the new year. Connie

hi, I don't know what has happened to my weight.A week ago i had not gained anything.On Mon. I had gained 10 pounds.My doctor was Highly upset.this is the most I have ever weight.I was more than highly upset. tues. I had gained 10 pounds.i don't know if I am not drinking enough water or what. i was within my calorie limit.i am going to restart my weight program.I am going on the solid liquid diet . carol

I lost 2 pounds this week in spite of the Christmas social events. I know I wouldn't have done it without tracking nutrition and fitness and receiving encouragement from so many of you. Thank you. I've never, ever lost weight in December.

Goodie, I get more snowmen I lost 3.2 lbs this week and 1 1/2 inches. Am down below what I was when we went to Florida. Now just to keep dropping for the rest of the month. Janet

Here's our most recent list of those who stayed in the challenge for December. Also, I've added the number of snowmen you earned for the December Challenge as well. The more snowmen, the more chance to win the Snowman Challenge Trophy. And, sorry, but I can't give you half snowmen, so only full pounds count here.

Thanks to all of you for your patience. Our trip down was quite harrowing and when we got to our house, there was no internet, TV, or telephone. But today we got hooked up finally. I'll be working out the standings of where we are and of who is still with us.
The snowman trophy is also looking forward to his debut -- real soon. He was created in the car during the extremely loooooooooong 25 hour drive. I just need to give him his WINNER tag and he'll be ready to have his portrait done.

I'm still at my same weight 188 pounds. My weight during the week just seems to bounce around (up and then back down) I'm going to try to really work on the exercise angle this week and see if I can get it to below 188.
