I do have to re-stir them once or twice to avoid the sticking, or put in a blender cup (with a whisk ball) when mixing with juice.

I haven't tried to soak them overnight Don't they stick together?? I soak them for about 15 min. before adding them to my Greens Drink. Or my protein drink.

I enjoy them, too! For me, they digest better if I soak overnight in a little bit of water before adding to cherry juice.

Chia: Not Just For Planters

Perhaps best known as the source of "fur" on novelty planters called Chia Pets, chia is the highly nutritious seed of a desert plant called Salvia hispanica. An important part of the diet of ancient Aztecs and Mayans, chia seed is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, as well as vital minerals including calcium, phosphorus and magnesium.
