They had a really great 7 minute routine in a Runner's World issue from a couple months back. I found it online - hopefully this works for you:

Stretching before a run does very little. A gentle jog gradually increasing pace is an adequate warm-up. Stretching after a run has been shown to decrease muscle soreness. Straightforward calf and hamstring stretches work well for me. I find running magazines are good for this kind of stuff...gives me a good perspective on what the science recommends, what professionals and amateur runners do, what areas of running I need to learn more about, etc.

I only warm up for 5 min before my run. I have read that I should stretch on my off days. Does anyone have a stretching routine? My knees sometimes are a little sore and I am wondering if stretching will help :) Thanks!
