Hi all, I'm looking for some advice from those who have done this before. The HM running plan that I'm following (The Runners World SmartCoach app) has me doing one last 18k long run the weekend prior to my scheduled HM. This coincides with a local 10k that I typically run. What do you think I should do? Is it better to stick with the slow, long run (skipping the 10k race), or do the 10k plus add another 8k slow afterwards, or just do the 10k...? I'm not sure what to do, but I was planning to send in my registration soon, so should decide if I'm in or out at least. Any advice from the experience of this group?
