A great answer to at least part of the prayers. I'm glad your dad is getting the care he needs. Hubby was actually sent to ER one time in an ambulance with diverticulitis - they thought at first it was a heart attack! it takes a while for him to learn what triggers his and then avoid those foods - usually stuff he thinks he can't live without eating, I continue to pray for all my SP Friends and their families. let's hear it for the power of prayer. So glad to hear that your dad and family have been moved to action and are doing what is needed.
My 86-year-old father also suffers from diverticulitis and it can be a tricky and nasty disorder. Your dad will need to be careful about his diet and see the doctor regularly until things have stabilized.
We'll keep praying for the challenges ahead.

thankyou all. i am moved to tears to feel all the support. several of my co workers ganged up on my dad (i work for him) and by 11 am he was on his way to urgent care then sent to the er and then admitted. as soon as i hit send this morning i felt a wave of relief (i think thats the right word)and throughout the day it was a amazing how every one pulled together (all his employees) and my brother even put in for a couple vacation days and showed up this afternoon to help me. i am glad dad was admitted so that he can have the care that he needs. marge your prayer was beautiful. thankyou.

Don't let dad wait around with this, it can be very serious, voice of experience, My prayers are with you and your family. Tell Dad you care too much to let him get so ill without medical help! What you are able to do to help dad will be a consolation in your later life.

Dear Father, I place Barb and her dad in Your loving hands. Please wrap them in Your love and peace, and grant healing to Barb's dad. Please send Your Holy Spirit to them to guide them to make the right decisions that will enable his healing.
