Hello, OZARKMARY!
I hope you are well.

You ask a good question.
Yes, in the fall, we had 27 intentions which we requested in the 27 days of petition, and then thanked God for granting in the 27 days of thanksgiving.
Each time we do these novenas, we get a different number of intentions.

At one point, one of our members enjoyed having 27 intentions exactly, as he would pray one each day in petition, and then prayed a special prayer of thanksgiving for each different one for the 27 days of thanksgiving.

I haven't heard from him in a while, and no one else requested exactly 27.
I'm not sure how we ended up with 25 this time, but perhaps I combined a couple, and that's why we 'lost' a couple of them.

I have a question, CJ. I am confused which really doesn't take much, but in the Fall, I did a 54 day novena and there were 27 request intentions and 27 thanksgiving intentions, but this time there are only 25. Will there be more to follow or did I miss something? Thanks for your dedication to this Team. Blessings, mary

Astrid - is it your daughter Christine in the 'other intentions"?
Also, I hope you don't mind, but I added to the intention about those in the military, to bring them home safely.

What follows is our 'skeleton list' of our novena intentions. Please copy the list, and paste it into a new post. Then, add your own intentions to the number you wish them to go under. Please ask for assistance if you do not know how to do that.

[There are most of the 'usual' intentions that we frequently pray for (the dead, the sick, etc.). If yours is not listed anywhere, please add it near the bottom under "for all other intentions". If there turns out to be some similar ones under that heading, I will separate them out into their own section.]

WANNAREAD - great!

Dee - oh my goodness, please don't apologize. There's no problem, I just know that I never realized before when people would understandably put things like "My nephew in Afghanistan", or "My ill father"). Then, when I went to pray later on, I had no idea who they were. Fortunately, God knows who we mean, even when we don't, right?

Hello all.

1. In Thanksgiving for our many blessings;life and for my mother is still with us ,

2. For the pro-life cause; for all those considering abortion, all those who have had abortions, and all those who struggle with this issue, that God will soften their hearts; for our leaders to realize the evil of abortion and euthanasia and make laws that protect the most vulnerable in our society;
for our churches who send people out to pray the rosaries and pray for the end of abortion

3. For all non-believers especially:
Mathew and Donny,

for all those who have strayed from the Church that they will feel the Holy Spirit calling them back, especially: Dee's brother and sisters and their families

4. For all Catholic Critters Team members, that God will strengthen our faith always;

5. For all Sparkpeople members that God will guide them in their healthy journeys;

that God will provide all they need;

7. For all the sick, especially: Dee's mother, Frank who is in a hospice, Joe P,

that God will grant them all health of mind, body, and spirit;

8. For peace in our world, and for all those in the military that God will keep them safe in His arms;
Dee's nephew Timmy, Matthew, Amanda,

Hi Jocelyn! It's wonderful to see you in here.
I'm so sorry that your work situation is so tiring and time-consuming. That must be so difficult not to have time for your family or yourself.

How would like the intentions done, Jocelyn?

Thank you very much Cheryl for religiously continuing this although there are many days that I'm not around. I maybe physically absent but still keep on praying with all of our members here.

I've been very busy at work, arriving office at 08:00 (sometimes even earlier) and leaving at around 10:30 pm. Everything has been hectic with me and hope my boss will approve to give me additional staff.

To continue with the intentions, CC members, please confirm and do not hesitate to share your views and we will certainly proceed accordingly.

God bless you all....

Hello Team!
We are beginning our next Rosary Novena next week. I had been thinking the 26th, but may bump it a little as our intentions are not done yet.

The 21st will begin on the 7 October, though, so we need to be finished before that date.

My question to the team is this:

When we first started the Rosary Novenas (just before I came onboard here), Jocelyn just took peoples intentions and posted them in a short list, as we did not have many members participating at the time.

As the team grew, however, and more people joined in, the list for intentions got larger and larger (praise be to God!). I realized that some intentions were repeated often, and began compiling them for ease of recitation as we prayed.

For instance, prayers for the sick, the dead, our children, etc.

So, which would you prefer, Team?
A simple list of intentions?
Or a skeleton in which to plug in specific names, but that has some common intentions already listed?

Please let me know your preference.
