Good afternoon! I won't be "working out" with you because I'm having issues with my neck (I have a torn rotator cuff and a pinched nerve in the same neck/shoulder) but I am here with you for motivation and support!

Welcome to the fibro-friendly fitness challenge for February! Feel free to join at any time and adapt everything to your personal abilities.
The first week I'd like to start by having everyone support each other and make this site more fibro-friendly. Sparkpeople has a whole lot of really good fitness videos. Many of them can be adapted for fibro folks, some are almost totally fibro-friendly, some are just too advanced and some are just boring. Coach Nicole moves too fast for me in all the videos, but if I just move in slow motion and make smaller movements I can adapt the videos for myself. This week pick one video to try twice or two different videos and write a review. Post your review in this thread and also as a comment on the video. Include any info about your health conditions that you're willing to share, how or if you're able to adapt the video for your fibro body, if you would recommend the video for other fibro folks. This way other people in this group will be able to find the videos best suited for their ability level and other folks with physical limitations reading comments on the videos will be able to read your comments.
