I don't know if this pertains to you or not, but I notice when "t.o.m." is in town I eat a lot more than I should, and I crave a lot of wierd things. I always end up going over my calorie limit a couple of days.
Another thing is trying eating foods with less calories, so you have room to eat more in a day. And, eat things with tons of fiber in them. Try an apple for a snack. It sounds strange, but that really fills me up. Or chug a full glass of water or two.
