I have recently added the cover of a Nightmare Before Christmas song to my workout playlist. This is Halloween by Marlyn Manson. I don't know why, but I love this song and it makes me push when I listen to it. :P

I honestly can't work out without music. I just don't get the same workout without it. I find I will go to music, so if I have a lot of high energy songs, I'll burn waaaaay more calories than if I was just going by myself.

On Thursday, I put on the Warp album by Evanescence. It is 47min long, and I worked out from start to end. What a great workout :)

I must admit that I'm an oddball here--I like silence when I exercise, especially when I ride my bike. The world is so full of noise and I love being alone with my thoughts.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I couldn't make it through a workout without my ipod. I need music to help motivate and push me through my workout.

The purpose of this tread is to help everyone share their music, and to help everyone find some new tracks to spice up their workout.
