I am new here, just joined SparkPeople yesterday. I have not exercised in a long time. Today I decided, well, if I'm going to do it, I had better start today! I have some Leslie Sansone walkfit DVD's (like indoor walking in place with some arm movements). I did the 1 mile walk. Yeesh! Whoo! I made it, but it wasn't just a walk in the park, baby! It's only 17 minutes, but I figure, start from where you are. It's better than not exercising at all. Then I printed out the strength training exercises from the site here and I did those. I was only able to do one set, but by God I made this big ol' body do it. I feel pretty proud right now, and hope to increase my stamina soon!
