The book particularly about mindfulness eating by the monk is called, "Savor:Mindful Eating, Mindful Life".
Thich Nhat Hanh is a Vietnamese Buddhist monk who has written extensively on many topics relating to Buddhism and mindfulness. Also has CD'semoticon

a great book that is on mindfulness in general (which of course can be applied to mindfulness about eating) is The Miracle of Mindfulness by a very famous zen Buddhist monk named Thich Nan Thac (or something like that). sorry,I have no idea how to spell his name, but the book is wonderful. It is very easy to read and has a lot of wisdom. i loved it, found it very inspiring, and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in mindfulness.

Thank you for this! I've been looking for some additional resources on mindful eating/mindfulness in general and will add these to my reading list.

If I may, a book that has also been helpful to me is "Life Is Hard, Food Is Easy" by Linda Spangle. If emotional eating is your downfall (and it is mine) you my find this book useful as well.
