emoticon Try not to feel discouraged. Remember, it's one step at a time and you're making super awesome strides already! You're getting in the miles and, mainly, the great cardio, so keep up the great job, my friend!

So I sent DH to the local Goodwill Store looking for an exercise bike for me for the winter months. Instead he came home with an Elliptical Trainer. I am very very overweight and I can hardly walk for 3-5 minutes on the elliptical without becoming exhausted. The batteries in the mileage tracker on it are dead, I haven't had the money to replace them. I am walking at what feels like a normal pace, but I can walk on a track for 2-4 miles without becoming as exhausted as I am after just a few minutes on the elliptical. I am so frustrated... I have had it for two weeks and have been using it daily but don't see any progress. I have relaxed the tension to next to nothing to see if that helped, but the faster it goes the more quickly I tire. Any advise, suggestions, tips, tricks, please share!! I like the elliptical but just can't seem to make any progress using it.
