6/20: 30 minutes if new planting and weeding.
12:02 min on elliptical, 1.24 miles, 86 calories and HR @ 136. A short time on the ;machine but the humidity is a real exercise breaker today! Sat on the patio swing with a huge glass of water to cool down and hydrate! emoticon

Had our traveling pal guests for dinner (we are the 6 amigos) so besides getting the table ready for dinner,cutting up strawberries for the dessert topping, washing the fresh cherries and doing last minute straightening up of the house, I only managed to get in 15 minutes of floor exercises in the evening. It wasn't much but I have made a firm commitment to get in at least 15 minutes or more of exercise while I watch TV. I get in some boxing movements, swimming strokes, skating movements, and even some "girl" style pushups. I have noticed a real improvement in my arms and I seem to be able to hold a plank position for a longer time without shaking and giving up too quickly. I know even this small bit of exercise is making some simple changes in my body. I love when the scale reads a lower number but how my clothes fit and my energy level are really better indicators of the changes. Every little bit.... emoticon

Of course it had to rain today. Not a brief shower, but an unending fall. I've only moved almost 2 cords of wood from the 5 cords we had delivered. But I'm wet, ornery, & decided to stop until the rain lets up a bit. (yeah...as if..)

I've worked for 110 minutes stacking wood into the "trolley", rolling it over to the stacks, and then putting it into rows of wood. Tiring, lots of bending & stretching, and remembering to lift with my bent knees & not using the back. No elliptical or loose wgts. necessary today.
