160.7 average for the week. I think I'll nudge that center weight down to 161 for the next challenge.
Kept my estimated center weight and +-3% range from the Thankful challenge for the interim recording. Posting 7-day average weights, as is my custom for these challenges.
Center Weight: 161.5 (range: 156.7-166.3 )
11/26: 160.6 average for week of 11/18-11/24 12/3: 161.3 average for week of 11/25-12/1 12/10: 161.1 average for week of 12/2-12/8 12/17: 160.7 average for week of 12/9-12/15

161.1 average for the week. I'm noticing that I weigh less the day after a running day, and having more running days moves the average down. Haven't figured out what that means, if anything, for long term maintenance.

My weigh in today was 126.0; My goal is stay at 125. Ideally, I would like to be at 124 but for some reason my body's new set weight is around 125. Its just one lb but it would feel good to be below 125 because 125 is what I weighted after my last baby 16.5 years ago and mentally, it would make be feel VERY proud to be under that weight.

Down 1 pound to 139.
I had set my goal at 140 because I never thought I would be able to get to that much less lower. I think I would like to stay at 138- 139. I think that would be reasonable for me to maintain..... Hopefully!

Again, instead of using my exact weight for weigh-in day, I'll use the moving average from Physics Diet.com. As a result, my range here will look ridiculously small.

Edit 12/3: I think I misunderstood the timeline, and was a week off. As I understand it now, my average for the week of 11/25 to 12/1 should be reported on 12/3, and the week before that should be reported on 11/26. Edits below reflect this revised understanding. This will put my weight on a consistent basis with past challenges, and match up nicely to the next week after this going into the Mardis Gras challenge.
Keeping my estimated center weight and +-3% range from the Thankful challenge. Posting 7-day average weights, as is my custom for these challenges.

Center weight 135 (range: 131 to 139.1) 11/26 (12/2) 138.2 average for the week, ugh! but it's coming down, so that's what counts. 12/3 (12/9) 136.7 average for the week-headed in the right direction 12/10 (12/16) 134.7 average for the week. Feeling good about starting the Mardi Gras Challenge next week! 12/17
I may want to drop for the Mardi Gras challenge, but the holiday put me up a few (I post my Sunday weighted average on the challenges so will continue that here).

I have a question that's been nagging at me. When doing these challenges, I've been using my average from Physics Diet. The average I've been using is the average from the beginning of the challenge until the end. Is that acceptable? Or is it more "fair" to use a weekly average? Any thoughts? Thanks!

oops, maybe I didn't understand the challenge. I am not at my goal weight yet. I think my goal is 138 so I still have as of today 10.4 pounds to lose to get to goal. But maybe I'll still post my weighin each week if that's ok.

This will be nice. I did my weigh in today at 106.4. Almost down a pound from last week.
12/4/12: 109 what a difference a week makes right? My exercise is consistent but the food hasn't been. Beating myself up again. 12/1/12 105. No seriously that's what the scale said! What the hell? This number game is messing with my mind me thinks.

Yeah, I need a place to post weekly weights, just to stay in the habit. I weigh daily, and post the average of Sunday-Saturday weights for these challenges. The really challenging thing historically has been to predict where I'm going to maintain; I got it close to right for the Most Thankful Maintainer challenge.
So I'll keep my estimated center weight from the Thankful challenge, but I can't post for week of 11/26 until Saturday. Range is +- 3%.

OK - I'm in - I've never done one of these challenges before. I used a 3% range. Center Weight: 125 (range:121.25 - 128.75) 11/26: 123.7 12/3: 123.8 12/10: 123.0 (or 123.3, depending on which time it was. Still down from last week, which is good) 12/17: 127.7 (+4.7?!!! That's what happens to me with a weekend of parties and not tracking!)

If you're interested in continuing to log your weight weekly until the Mardi Gras Challenge begins, please feel free to do so here. Rather than recording each weigh-in in a separate message, you can use the following template and just go into your original message and edit it with your new numbers each week:
Center Weight: (range: ) 11/26: 12/3: 12/10: 12/17:
You can weigh-in any day you'd like each week no later than Monday. This will carry us through until the next challenge begins, so let's work together to stay on track through the holidays!
