I drank more water when it was warmer now it seems I get more from teas, and even coffee. I know coffee should not count but today I did.
I am going out to the truck to get my water bottle right now and getting back into the habit of carrying it with me everywhere.

no worries I am giving myself until March to really learn this leadership thing, by then I should come up with something.
I am doing great on the eating, drinking water, and getting back into working out, instead of working, but I have to get back to tracking everything, so my goals are to get back to tracking everything again, it really keeps me aware of what I am doing. And it is so easy it just takes time and I don't seem to have a lot of that these days. namaste

I love drinking water and I don't eat fish, I actually like them alot!! Thank you for repling to the post. I am wondering about how other people on this team are doing, we all joined during the same week and I know spark is working for me, and I am hoping for everyone else too. How are you doing?

the challenge is to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, at least 8oz each, and it help us do that we should remember to drink with each meal and or snack. I drink water all day/more on the treadmill, so I don't worry about not meeting the challenge. I just do.

Real good so far I drink between 3 and 4 and a half liters of water a day depending on the work out day. Fish are homeless in CA.

Keep up the good work everyone. I myself usually drink between 96oz-112oz of water depending on how hard I work out at the gym. I know on the days when i don't drink much water I am always thirsty.

Usually, I try my best to drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day, but I haven't been doing too well lately. The Team goal has definitely been an encouragement, though. I hope we meet it!

I did great on water , I drank 10 glasses fri, sat, and sunday. If you are overweight you are suppose to drink more than 8 glasses a day. Easiest way is every 25 pounds over ideal weight add a glass. Or do weight times .5 and that will give you the ounces you need every day. Good job everyone and keep up the water intake. emoticon

I did so well on Friday with the water consumption- then over the weekend, I slipped off the wagon and went down to 2-3 per day. I am back and ready to start over. I have 16 oz water bottles in the fridge, so I only need to drink 4 of those per day. In my head it always sounds easy, but I am a REALLY slow drinker!

I have 2 1.5 liter bottles that I fill up everyday and I make sure I have them with me every where I go. I keep a full bottle in my truck and I keep one filled on my treadmill at all times sometimes I will drink 3 bottles in a day. I don't think that is too much water I sweat a lot while working out.

wow. I used to think I drank a lot of water since I always have one at my desk and refill as soon as its empty. However, today I realize that I drink too slow! I only had four glasses yesterday. Yay for this challenge otherwise I would have never realized it.

Way to go On drinking water. water is good for our body because it helps flush out your body. I put cucumber slices in my water. I also love it cold. that is the only way I will drink it. Keep up the good job.

However, especially as you are drinking a diuretic (coffee) at the same time, which dehydrates the body, you really should be concentrating on getting more water. So your habit of drinking 16oz of water with your coffee is fantastic.

I LOVE coffee, cannot get enough. Every time I get a cup of coffee I also get a 16oz bottle of water. I make sure I donít get a coffee refill until my water bottle is empty. Iím finding Iíve had my water before 3pm. Can you drink too much water?

A trick if you like it with no calories, is any of the flavored mixes. I use to use sugar free jello in all the flavors I like. You add just enough to taste but not enough to jell much, LOL!! It works for me in the winter. That is the only time I have to make myself drink lots of water. I also use FRS sometimes. It takes just a little to flavor and you get natural energy from it. It's at GNC and now Riteaid. If you by the pre made kind you could just add enough to flavor a class of water. It worked for me when I first gave up cokes and had to have some flavor for my thirst.

I've lately started putting a splash of lemon juice or lime juice in my water. Makes it taste so much better and you feel all spa-ish. A crushed mint leaf also does the trick =)

I generally only drink two to four glasses of water a day. I have just never had the desire to drink water although, I know how important it is for me to make sure that i drink at least five glasses of water a day. I just joined Spark this morning and added a goal of drinking 8 glasses of water a day a priority. It is almost 5 P.M. my time and, I have already had six glasses of water today which, is two to four glasses more then my previous norm. Spark has been extremely helpful to me already and, it is only my first day here emoticon

I am bad with drinking lots of water daily. I had 4 glasses of water yesterday- which is an improvement from my usual 1 per day. We'll see if I can do better today.

This is how I get the water in, I diink two glasses of water when I get up in the mornig before I go to work.
Total oz's of water so far is 16.

I have a 32 oz bottle of water with me at work that I sip on doing the day. I drink a glass of water at lunch.
Total oz's of water so far: 56

I drink another 8-16 oz in the evening/dinner.

Total for the day 64-80 oz for the day.

i will tell you how i got my self to drink 8 glasses,
first i get my bottle with me everywhere, second.. i drink 2 glasses first thing in the morning.
i drink water instead of soft drinks with meals.

after a while i was feeling thirsty if i;m not drinking every hour

I am awful at drinking water also. The way I get in my 8 glasses a day is to tell myself that I can't drink anything else until I have finished the water. Then I can have some Crystal Light, juice, etc.
