I just heard from my granddaughter who is on a student ambassador trip to Europe. She is having a blast and learning so much.
I also feel good today because I walked last night. I always feel better when I consistently exercise.

I feel good today because I rested up a little after completing the Hippie Chick 1/2 Marathon on Mother's Day.

had a rough weekend my son broke his nose at church Sun. Skipped working out yesterday to take him to ER and well be a mommy lol. I felt so tired yesterday for doing nothing at all. But today took over a 2 hour walk yay!

I met with my doctor today to get the clearance for the operation. Everything looks good and I ready to go. Didn't lose the weight that I was aiming for, but I'll have plenty of time for walking after my operation.

I did my cardio walk today, after 2 days off (unintentionally). It was starting to rain and about 45 degrees. I put on my raincoat and went for it. It was a lovely walk. The extra moisture was nice to breathe and the new plants were sending out their fresh scent. Not too many others were on the trail, so it was rather peaceful. And now I have a head start on my week's exercise. emoticon emoticon emoticon

I feel good because I have had a very emotional upset in my life and I am NOT turning to food to get through it!!!! My significant other of 15 1/2 years is leaving me. It is hard but I will survive, one day- one minute at a time. I am working 2 jobs for a few weeks and attending college so I have plenty to keep me busy. I am losing this weight for me and no one else!!!

I feel good because I joined this group, and I know it'll help motivate me to walk more.

I made four very powerful SoulCollage cards today.

I ate healthy today. And perhaps more importantly, yesterday, when I spent the whole afternoon at a game at which I didn't know anyone. Other than the garlic hummus and whole wheat pita bread that I brought, all there was to eat was a variety of chips and candy. Whew. Dodged a bullet by bringing my own healthy food, and several others partook, so I'm not the only one trying to avoid typical snacks.

I feel good today because our school has a new principal who cares more about helping the students achieve the ability to read and write, and less about scores. If you know anything about the education system, you'll understand what I mean.

I feel good today because I walked for 60 minutes while watching The Biggest Loser. I absolutely love that show. I cried through most of it though. Not sure if I was crying for the people on there or if I was crying for myself because of the shape I was in.

it was the first day of school and everything went well. I had engaging lessons - students participated- no disruptions during class- easy transition out the door at 3. Great day. Now for Day 2.

Alix (my daugher) got a brand new car today. She will be 21 on the 3rd. So that is an awesome birthday gift.

So both my kids got a new vehicle for their birthdays.

Nick got a '99 chevy z-71. He is 17 and now has his dream truck. LOL.

I just pray every day and every night that they are safe and sound on the road. (Alix DOES NOT have a good track record!!!!)

My sons are doing well, praise God.
John is starting a new job tomorrow.
Joseph just started a new semester of college yesterday. And the baby,Ruben, will be entering the 12th grade and scored over 1850 on his SATS.
So far, so good. Very thankful indeed!
