Our household is mostly vegan, though not everyone is as completely diet-health-conscious as I am (out of necessity).
My housemate is an amazing support and makes vegan dinners for everyone. She gets recipe books and tries out lots of great things.
Some things that helped me as well (besides her practical support)
~ hemp seed milk (high in protein)
~ adding kale to smoothies and many meals, and my smoothies have 1 TBSP of raw hemp seeds--more protein)
~ adding nutritional yeast to whatever it makes sense to add to
I'd be glad to keep the conversation going. I'm only a year fully into it, and went gradually in before that~
I had to make a gradual change from lean meats to vegetarian to vegan -- which upset religious vegans, but that's how I had to do it.
