If you're going to do it at home, consider decorating a bra yourself, with coins, jewels and sparkly stuff you like. Find a nice velvet or satin in a color that you love and go for it!!! If you choose to add material over something you have... or are going to add lots of embellishment, you will need to go one size up. I love decorating my own stuff... I get exactly what I want!!! Find a cute hip scarf on ebay and you are totally ready to dance!!!

No Problem! Message me if there's anything else I can do to help! I also teach so I might be able to answer questions. But I'm sure that everyone here will be able to help as well.

Hugs and Shimmies!

thanks, I am going to be learning by DVD at home, and if I dress the part, I am more likely to stick to it!

Gym type attire is perfect for when you are starting out. If you are looking for something more 'bellydancerish" your teacher will be able to steer you in the right direction.

Personally I love and adore L. Rose Designs. Then have stuff that is good for class and stuff for costumes. I also love that if you send your measurements she will make what ever you want in your size! She is awesome!

She's at www.lrosadesigns.com

To learn most of us in my class just wear gym type attire.

I have lost 80# thus far and would love to learn belly dancing now! where does one find the proper attire?
I have a 36H chest! Not having much luck thus far, and in rural OK, shopping local or even statewide is not an option!
