Sounds interesting indeed. Thanks for the review.

I've got it. I've watched it start to finish, but haven't had a chance to actually sit down with it and work through it.
I think it's going to be a good dvd to work with, though. She concentrates on what she calls flow... And defines sensuous as "of the senses" rather than confusing it with sex.

No, but I'd avoided this video like the plague just because of the title. It's nice to hear a good, straightforward review. I'll look into it more closely now.

When I first bought this, I wasn't sure I really wanted it. But I have a compulsion to buy every bellydance video on the market, so I got it :) I was worried it would be some kind of sexed up thing, and all hippy goddessy.
It was NOT that at all, and I'm really enjoying working with this dvd. Blanca's instruction is really very complete -- when you do a movement you don't do it in "isolation" of the rest of your body and energy, and she tells you how to connect all that, and what body parts move with other ones, how to get them to move and flow together, and how to really FEEL the movements in your body -- thus the "sensual" part.
She teaches a full choreography on the dvd, but I don't think it's really a performance choreography, but more of something you could do for yourSELF, and something to enjoy for yourself.
I give it a big thumbs up. Has anyone else worked with it and likes it or has a different opinion?
