I did try to write but I lost it. The problem is NOT the fats that we eat it is the sugar and white flour , processed foods that turn in to sugar ready to burn energy. Many of us do not burn the calories so it turns in to fat.
There is a lot to learn and I hope the Dr either sends you to a nutritionist, most often insurance will pay or perhaps he told you what to eat or not to eat

Try to read the articles and set up your tracker.

PORTION control, measuring foods is a very big step to lose weight or eat right for your body. I hope this will help.

Had my cholesterol checked and it was 229. Not good, but certainly not that high. My doctor wants me on statins in 3 months if I don't get it down. I really don't want to go on statins, had problems with them once before. Anyone have any good healthy low fat meal ideas or recipes.
