Thanks a bunch!
I thought that exercise is a good way to lower your Triglycerides. Mine did not come down very much. Now I am taking Niacin and fish oil.
If you have to eat bread and cracker's be sure they are whole wheat and add protein and fiber not sugar.
I found this link that might help. Go to the recipes and if you just go to a search and type in Lowering Triglycerides with lower carbs you will see more. Pat in Maine.
I hope it helps ~~~~~Pat

Hi! I recently got my cholesterol results back, and while there was some improvement in the LDL and Cholesterol numbers, my Triglycerides have gone up! I've been told to eat fewer carbs ... which of course is my most favorite food group.
Do you all have any suggestions for easy-to-put-together snack ideas that involve more fruit, nuts, and veggies? I'm a snacker, and I usually reach for crackers, cereal, and chocolate. Bad, I know! I would like to see foods you munch on to stay healthy.
