Thank You everyone for your tips. I will try Quinoa. I read tofu is another high protein source that is low in fat. Is folate really necessary. I know it is important for pregnant mothers but do we need that high of folate?
Also on mostly protein. Can't eat dry chicken. I have a lapband and it sticks in throat. I eat fish and turkey but Love that darn cheese. I lsot 85 lbs and am thin. Down from 256 to 171. I was told that I was lean. I take medicine for cholesterol already and exercise al the time. I wonder what I should do.
How about some nuts for protein? Folate, I have no clue, as I don't track it.

I just started this group on tuesday and have been logging my nutrition and everytime I look at my feedback of my nutrition for the day. My report always says I need more protein and folate. How do you do this when you need low fat meals. I am meat eater but allergic to milk. Mind you I do have fat free milk with my cereal but small amounts. I can eat chees but like I said small amount but cheese has high of fat and well does meats. So what can I do up my protien and how do you get folate?
