I don't have advice, but thanks for the helpful tips on lowering cholesterol. Every tid bit of information helps.
Carrot juice if consumed immediately is excellent for the eyes, and is also a prevention against cancer. Have you tried mixing the juices of fresh carrots and fresh apples in equal quantities?? Yummy. If you use your imagination, you could come up with real good concoctions. A juice extractor is a very good appliance to have at home. Try other vegetable juices too...like celery, turnips, beetroot, etc. They are all good for health.

We have just purchased a juice machine that extracts all the juice from carrots and such and we were wondering how this effects the body and how much one can drink and how much sugar and calories you will get from drinking this daily?
In the past six months I have lowered my cholesterol by drinking LOCOL, which is a fibre health drink and by leaving out the butter and margarine and wrong fats.
If anyone has any information on the juice machine and drinking carrot juice it would be nice to know?

Was reading about this yoga teacher in India who claims one glass of juice of white pumpkin (called DHUDI or KADDU in India), taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, regularly for one month, rids one of the cholesterol problems. It is very insipid, so you can add a pinch of black pepper and lemon juice to make it more palatable.
