I had shin splints at first and added cushioning in some sports insoles from local retailer. That and stretching. I have struggled to learn the Sparks board and sort of stopped, but it is nice to see another Henry County person nearby.
I'm from Henry County as well, and recently started the new road to a better health. I dream of running, however everytime I try...about the 2nd-3rd day in I get those shin splints. So I'm down to walking miles and cardio machines at the gym until my legs get stronger and I ease into it.
