I was happy with the numbers on the scale this week. I lost 1.2 pounds. That's about 4 pounds in 3 weeks. I'm on a roll. Now I've gotta keep it rolling. I'm on the slow track, but that's ok. If I only lose 1 pound a week I know it's real fat that I'm losing, and not just water weight. Congratz to all who had losses. If you didn't, hang in there, next week will be better. See ya lighter!

Last week highest EVER 267. Started back on track of getting in 64oz of water and tracking my food. I am this week 259.50 down 7.50. Must work on it a day at a time. nothing goes in the mouth without logging it.... emoticon

down -0.9 lbs. this week

Thanks for the encouragement! i weighed-in. down -0.9 this week down -14 lbs all told. not bad, i guess. felt too weak to eat less to lose more, surprisingly!

walked 60 mins. today and ate under 1500 calories.

down -2.5 lbs today!

ok.
down -2.5 lbs. at Dr.'s office early this morning. i usually weigh-in before eating.

went out for brunch, all food from today tracked in SP

walked 35 mins to garden centre

worked the garden for a couple of hours

YAY! LOST (-)1.6 LBS TODAY! better than nothing!

AND I TRACKED AND ANNOUNCED IT ALL OVER THE PLACE IN SP!

SO THERE WERE 5 EASY JUICY PIECES OF KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN AND THEIR FRIES IN THE FRIDGE A FEW DAYS AGO.

AND THEY WERE ALL CALLING OUT MY NAME LOUDLY, "ANNIE! ANNIE! EAT ME! EAT ME!'

BUT I YELLED AT THE CHICKEN, "NO WAY, KENTUCKY, NO! I AM NOT TOUCHING YOU! YOU'RE NOT RUINING MY WEIGH-IN DAY!"

SO I GOT BUSY WITH SOMETHING ELSE AND FORGOT ABOUT THEM ALL FOR A WHILE.

BY THE TIME I GOT BACK TO NUKE THEM IN THE MICROWAVE FOR A QUICK BINGE, TO GIVE IN TO TEMPTATION, THEY WERE MYSTERIOUSLY ALL GONE!

AND THAT'S HOW I OFFICIALLY LOST WEIGHT TODAY!

My official TOPS weigh in last night was 289.2 which is down 4-1/4 pounds from last weeks weigh in at 293.4. Those numbers don't quite jive with the numbers I have from weighing every day this week. I didn't expect it to be the same. I've been weighing first thing in the morning and TOPS weigh in is in the evening so I realize there are differences because of what I've eaten that day. I was curious to see how the numbers would work out. According to my numbers I am still down about 3-1/2 pounds. That's great. I've been doing something right.

My latest strategy of weighing every day seems to be working. I think it helps to curb my evening mindless munching. It makes me stop and question whether I really want something when I think about stepping on on the scale in the morning. I know it's suggested that you only weigh once or twice a week, but maybe this is what I need to do to get a good start in changing my mindset.

Yes Tortoise~The scale is always better going down then up. But, you can't just go by the scale as markers for your successes & hard work. There are other things such as how your clothes are fitting and how you feel. People pretty much always weigh more at night than they do during the day because you've been eating and possibly retaining water. Your true body weight is 1st thing in the morning after going to the bathroom before eating or drinking anything.
But, I am happy for you the scale is going in the right direction. It's not about how fast you get there as long as you get there.

I was down only 1/2 a pound at my TOPS weigh in last night. According to my scale it was more than that. I have to take into account that I weigh more in the evening than in the morning, and it depends on what I have eaten during the day too. Oh well, I'm happy. Losing even 1/2 a pound is better than a gain any day.

I was down 3.5 pounds at last nights TOPS mmeint weigh in. I'm glad that I'm down, but it's the same 3 or 4 pounds I've been gaining and losing for the last month. I've been doing pretty good with tracking calories, but I've been over the top end of my recommended range a little too often. Time to get serious this week and get that scale on the down slide. I hope everyone has a good week.
