but I'm back up and running. Its already a change from the last year. Normally I would have just... stopped.
Its interesting to see that even when I have a week off, I'm not Gaining anything.. makes me wonder if I just dont have extra skin/gross weighing me down, Literally.

I've been sick all week with this stupid flu and haven't come even close to meeting my nutritional requirements - forcing myself to eat to hit 900 calories - nothing is appealing, and exercise was non existant. Anyways the good news is that I've lost 3 pounds this week. (I was worried that my body may go into starvation mode).

I hope to get back to normal food intake and exercise next week, not sure if I'll see the pounds stay off? I usually average only about .5 pound loss/week, if I'm lucky. Anyone care to comment on what their body did after being sick?

Seem to be in a holding pattern, not losing but thankfully not gaining! Too much eating out so will have to do more cooking at home as that seems to help me stay on track. Also not walking as long as I like but maybe now that it is cooling down it will be easier to put in 2 or 3 miles instead of stopping at 1.

144 - haven't last anything since my last weigh in. However, considering I have been travelling which resulted in me not exercising and eating out alot over the past month and 1/2 - not gaining anything during this period isn't bad. Now I have to get back to exercising and eating right.

I guess it is sad that at my age I still need a weekly weigh-in to keep me on track! However, the truth is that when I reach for the glass of wine, or cheese cube, and I remember that weigh-in day is coming up, I (usually) go for the fruit or celery stick. A crutch? Maybe. So I was just able to compare, scale to scale and my MD's office scale has me 1 lb lighter fully clothed (and I have a ton of layers on today) than my home scale has me naked. I think if I can edit my starting weight I'm going to (it was from my MD scale) because it will be more true. Not to mention showing the increased loss will make me happy.

So, I'm off to weight my clothes and see how much they weight.

yes, I'm obsessed.

I agree that you just have to want it,And stay focused.I am celebrating a loss of 9lb in 3 weeks.I am off to a good start.And dont worry about what you didnt do yesterday just refocus for today.Yesterday should never take up to much of today.

last week I gained 1.5 and this week I maintained...I am on the "maintenance" part of my journey and this is ok...I want to stay at or below 170, so 166 right now....

I look forward to watching many of you reach the maintenance level...just keep your eyes focused on the "prize" and keep running with determination....you can do this, you just have to want it!

Down a 1/2 pound this week. Was hoping to lose 1/week. Maybe I am gaining muscle, because I have increased my exercise and lowered my calories a little this week. Just a little over 1200 most days, so don't think it's my diet.

Well.....reweighed myself a half hour later, and I weighed 140. Tried again to make sure, and it's 140.
Maybe time for a new scale? This one is pretty old, and was only supposed to last 10 years, but have had it way longer than that...more like 20.lol

Yal are doing better than me since joining SP. I'm only down a total of 1.7 lbs for the entire time (3ish weeks). I hit a road block when my grandfather went in the hospital and then passed away. I gained 2 lbs the week he passed away but I did managed to lose a total of 2.5 lbs on my last weigh in to get back in on the progress end!

Lost 4.5 lbs since joining SP! Isn't it great to see the progress? I'm definitely thinking more about what I'm eating since I log my food & see how much I have left for the day, I make better choices.

Down 1.0....so I am .5 from no longer being considered overweight based on BMI...honestly though, I wouldn't mind settling in near 170 which would mean a gain...

What this means for everyone is that the SP journey absolutely works as long as we stay the course, deal with our baggage and then toss it, don't fret too long about mild molehills, and remember to run this race with purpose and determination....

SP is a place where successes are born and we want you collectively to experience these victories...and Aintskeerd and I are here to cheer you on...step by step.

My starting weight was 145.5.
I did weigh myself on Monday to see if I was on track, and was at 144.5 then. So will let you know tomorrow.

I started last Monday - but did not officially weigh in until Tuesday afternoon. So - this afternoon I do my official week 1 weigh in... on the same scale... at the gym... right before my workout.

Nervous - I had a great food/exercise week but not a fantastic food/exercise weekend. We'll see what happens.

I'm at 165.5, which is 1.5 less than last week....I am not sure, but I think I am almost officially not overweight anymore...

I'm the dilemma on the end side of the journey because i don't want to lose more weight, so trying to find the balance between exercise and food intake...

But I made it, and so can you....stay focused on your goals, and run with purpose and determination!

It is definitely within your reach...I strongly believe this....

I seem to be stuck at 116 my BMI is ok but I still struggle with a "tummy" and thickness in the middle... doing Wii everyday 10-30 mins..riding my horses a couple of times and general other activities. my calorie intake is around 1500 a day I feel stuck! I have been as low as 111 so that 5 lbs is what I have stuck in the "middle"

Was 169.5 this morning so I'm out of the 170's!! YAY! That's what I aim for, getting out of whatever 10's I'm in. I originally was in the 190's then the 180's then the 170's so now I'm in the 160's and my next goal is to get to the 150's. I find that's helped me as it's smaller steps. I even break it down further into get out of the high number, get to the middle, move to the lower part then OUT and on to the next!

I weigh once a week (sundays), so I'll start...I came in at 167 which is .5 less than last week. I started the journey in Oct 08 at 213. That's a lot of distance! You can do this too!
