Lets face it the egg went from protein drink of the incredibly buff to a main contributer to heart disease to healthy protein option and everything in between. For me they are a fast convenient protein source. If I'm tired I can fry or poach one in no time.
One of my favorite ways is hard boiled. Ever go to Starbucks and see their "Protein box". I used to make myself something similar for lunch. A hard boiled egg, a slice of lowfat cheddar, a few grapes and carrots. Starbucks includes a little mini flat bread and some peanut butter. I used lowfat peanut butter and then a slice of Boston Brown Bread... yup the stuff in a can, It has a few extra calories, but packs a huge nutritional punch. And this lunch allows you to nibble throughout the day.. Important in retail.
