Walking up and down hills every morning. Even our drive is a 45 degree angle, so it goes on all day. But morning is the diligence. The older dog and I both get puffy, huff and puff.

I was hiking on a trail in boots that weigh less than my MBT shoes that I walk on the track, but I don'r make as good a time in the gravel/ballast as I do on a paved path. It would have been hot either place.

Dogs insist on walking outside. So I do in this heat. DW fusses cause of my health conditions--that are improving.

I don't like to walk outside! I'm used to a treadmill. Still get a good workout and I do sweat and get hot! But I can tell when I do walk outside. It kills my calves.

walked at 2:30 today after spending 45 minutes cleaning the church bus interior. I thought I was warm in the bus which was under a canopy. When I walked, by the .8 mile mark I was hot and by 1.6 I was hot, tired and wet.

I enjoy walking and hiking. I have found walking after 6:30 on trails in the woods results in running and swatting horseflies
