Bumping this forward for this year.
I am trying to lose a couple pounds before my doctor's appointment January 12 but am trying to do it "smart". Working today on decreasing the amount of candy I've been eating

I like this challenge.
As an endurance athlete, it's hard to lose weight while eating for performance...just as hard as trying to avoid all the yumminess on the holiday table.
So, here's your challenge: rather than focus on losing weight over the holidays, let's focus on maintaining, not gaining, weight during the holidays.
Weigh yourself tomorrow (Weds before the US Thanksgiving).
Be sure to drink plenty of water.
Go easy on the salt and sugar.
Get plenty of sleep.
Keep track of every week's progress.
You can do this!
