Here is a fast, low calorie, cheat for apple pie.
Take one apple, peel and core it, cut into slices. Toss into non-stick skillet with 3/4 cup water, cover and let it cook/steam for about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on desired firmness for the apple. Occassionally, turning apples as they cook. Drain any remaining water, put apple slices in bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg to taste. You can also add a touch of sugar, I find Sugar In The Raw to be a good choice. 1 tsp. is only 15 calories.
Then stir and enjoy. Low calorie, plus gives you a full fruit serving for the day.
