THE RECIPE IS THE SAME FOR ANY MEAT YOU COOK IN IT AND THE FAT AND THE ONIONS ARE PART OF THE SAUCE WHEN YOU GET DONE SO THAT IS NOT THAT MUCH FAT TOTAL. I USE THIS SAUCE TO MAKE MY HOT WINGS WITH ONLY I ADD MORE CAYENNE PEPPER TO IT TO MAKE IT EVEN HOTTER THAN IT NORMALLY IS, BUT YOU TALK ABOUT A GOOD SAUCE THIS IS IT, ENJOY. AND JUST KEEP IN MIND EVERYTHING STAYS THE SAME NO MATTER WHAT TYPE OF MEAT YOU USE, YOU ADD THE ONION DIRECTLY TO THE SAUCE YOU DO NOT ADD IT TO THE PAN TO BROWN WITH THE MEAT,SO DO NOT GET THAT CONFUSED......

I bet my hot wings would lavish being submerged in this sauce....

1 3-31/2 LB CHICKEN
1 MED SIZE ONION
2 TBS FAT
2 TBS VINEGAR
2 TBS BROWN SUGAR
1/4 C LEMON JUICE
1 C KETCHUP
3 TBS WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
1/2 TBS PREPARED MUSTARD
1 C WATER
1/2 C CHOPPED CELERY OR 1 TBS CELERY SEED
1/2 TSP CAYENNE PEPPER

CUT CHICKEN INTO SERVING PIECES. BROWN IN HOT FAT,BROWN ONION IN FAT, ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS. SIMMER 30 MINUTES. POUR OVER CHICKEN; BSKR UNCOVERED IN MODERATE OVEN ;350 DEGREES;1 HOUR

THIS SAUCE MAY BE USED FOR OTHER MEATS ALSO.
I ALWAYS DOUBLE OR TRIPLE THE RECIPE TO MAKE SURE I HAVE ENOUGH SAUCE FOR THE MEAT TO BE COMPLETELY COVERED WITH IT.......YUMMO AND YOU CAN USE MORE CAYENNE PEPPER IF YOU LIKE TO SPICE IT UP A BIT MORE DO IT TO YOUR TASTE I USUALLY USE 1TSP INSTEAD OF THE 1/2
ENJOY ALL.
