I like songs that have a quick tempo. I tend to pace myself accordingly.

Daft Punk- Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
Mika - Big Girls (You are Beautiful)
Loo & Placido - Losing Myself

The third one is good for a warm up tempo.

I've been working on my distance running. The music keeps my pace for me and because I'm increasing the duration of my run every week by 10%, I add about a song to the mix weekly. To avoid getting bored, sometimes I add a few and take a couple out. My top three right now:
Lose Yourself, Eminem (1st song of the list great to get up to speed with)
Just Dance, Lady Gaga (feels like I am dancing as I get through approx. 2nd mile)
Hung Up, Madonna (I sprint during this song during the last mile of my run)

My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny."

Mine aren't new, tried and true. I listened to Tina Turner's greatest hits yesterday, so my 3 songs are: Proud Mary, Legs (a ZZ Top song she re-did), and River Deep, Mountain High. kim

I know, I know!
My husband is super shy, and that is the one and only time he has ever done karaoke - after lots of beer, and so when I hear it, I just start laughing and somehow it motivates me! I guess it's kind of crazy to be sentimental about Danzig, huh?

I ran with a friend, so no music, just lots of chat. But I car danced to "What I Like About YOU", which was unexepectedly exhilarating!

I worked out to a Gunnar Peterson video with my stability ball. I listened to Cowboy and American Bad A.. by Kid Rock and Hard to Handle and Twice as Hard by The Black Crowes. I did the cool down to Uncle Kracker's Drift Away.

Well, I worked on some tae kwon do kicks on my heavy bag. the 3 songs I worked out too, were:

1) Diamonds and guns, by the Transplants
2) Tub thumping, by chumbawumba (if I'm spelling that right!!)
3) Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith.

All of those songs seemed to be pretty motivating!!
