I rebounded today, oh yay.... now my leg aches. I think it's hurting in the sense that circulation is trying to happen. Among the more interesting choices that spun up on my Pandora "Running 150-171 bpm" channel was "Animal" - Neon Trees; "Clocks" - ColdPlay; "Used To Be My Girl" - The O'Jays. Oh, before that, I was on my Stevie Wonder channel - lemme go see if Pandora has chucked the play history on that channel yet...one was a Michael Jackson piece but I can't think, and Pandora already ditched my play history (I was listening to my Fanny Mendelssohn channel when I started writing this...). Also "Signed Sealed Delivered" - Stevie Wonder...

Matthew 6:33-34
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

This post is doing double-duty because I posted it on the Urban Rebounder team too. I just finished rebounding, so hey, play oldies music and drive my teenager crazy "Mom, What's that song?" I tend to try to find songs from the 70's and 80's and to some extent the 90's that I remember, and save them to the Rebounder playlist on both Spotify and Pandora...(msdrpepper on both channels, if you want to connect as friend, but I'm just using the free versions of both platforms.).

Today, I let Spotify play random music loaded into my "Rebounder" playlist

"(Da Le) Yaleo" - Carlos Santana
"Vamos a La Playa" - Righeira ( I have NO idea what they were singing about! No Comprehende Espanol!! but they sure know how to write hoppin' music!!)
"American Band" - Grand Funk Railroad
"Neverending Story" - Limahl (theme song from the movie of the same name.)
"Roxanne" - The Police
(stopped rebounding but now I'm just toe tapping and "cool off""...
"Ordinary Pain" - Stevie Wonder
"Kesse Ye Lolo De Ye" - Stevie Wonder
"You Can Call Me Al" - Paul Simon
"I'm So Excited" - The Pointer Sisters...

It's still rattling on... will switch the channel. I'm waiting for the tracker to finish offloading and tell me whatever random number of minutes it thinks I rebounded. By my eyeballs and clock, I rebounded over 20 minutes, but took a couple songs before I remembered to turn the stopwatch tracker on - and when I stopped it, said 15:31 minutes. But I am not so delusional as to assume that my version of reality and the Spark Activity Tracker's reality are operating on the same plane!! :)

"Love Shack" by the B52's is workout guilty pleasure. And "Celebrate" by Kool and the Gang. Not only are they fun to move to, but it's almost impossible not to smile when you hear them.

I'm a child of the 80s and the early days of MTV, so I have a soft spot for British New Wave bands like Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Yaz, Adam Ant, ABC, etc. All make great workout music!

Do you like to listen to music from decades past while working out? I know I do sometimes. Whether you like to listen to Aerosmith or Jimi Hendrix, The Temptations or Genesis, list your fave retro music to sweat it out to here!
