I am going to share these with my sister-in-law! Plus the website! She has young kids that will love these! And until I have grandkids I have to live vicariously through others! Thanks for posting such fun stuff! I will have to look up some of my old recipes that my kids loved that I made like my chocolate mice and post it here. Okay well maybe not here, it is not healthy but kids love them, and like to help make them. It is a fun thing to do as a family.

Want to wow your grandkids without spending lots of time and money pulling things together? These seven super-easy food tricks work like magic. You just need a few everyday items and ingredients easily found in any supermarket.

Hot Dog Spaghetti Monsters

Mess with your grandkidsí minds: Serve these mystery spaghetti bites for dinner, and let them guess how you made it happen.
What you need:

A pot full of water
Hot dogs
Thin spaghetti

What to do: Bring the pot of water to a boil. While itís heating, cut the hot dogs into 1-inch pieces. Carefully poke the spaghetti through the cut side of each piece. Cook until the spaghetti is done and serve.

Banana Notes

Looking for a way to pass love letters to your grandchild? Grab a banana and start writing.
What you need:

A banana
A toothpick

What to do: Write a message in the skin of the banana using the toothpick. Make sure to apply enough pressure so it punctures the peel, but not so much that it hits the fruit. In about 15 minutes, your note will appear!

Milk Rainbows

You don't have to wait for a drizzly day to make rainbows appear. Armed with a few key tools, your favorite little one can create one right at the table. Even better, they move.
What you need:

A white plate (not paper)
Whole milk
Food coloring
A toothpick
Dish detergent

What to do: Pour enough milk to cover the bottom of the plate. Add a few drops of food coloring to different parts of the plate. Wet a toothpick with dish detergent and quickly dip it into any part of the plate with food coloring. Watch your rainbow run!
